It's been a great and sunny weekend here in Melbourne. I was able to go for a walk in the glorious sunshine over the last two days and in between I have been painting hydrangeas! I love the colours of hydrangeas, whether they compelement or contrast. My first painting showed complementing colours of three hydrangeas in pink, blue and purple. Check it out on Bluethumb here . My second painting showed a group of three hydrangeas in my fave contrasting colours of blue and yellow/green, and the Bluethumb link is here . I will be painting more hydrangeas in the future as they are so fun to paint, so stay tuned for more. If you haven't already, please drop into my Bluethumb page and have a look and if you could follow me that would be a great support. Thank you lovelies!

Hellow everyone, hope you all had a good week. I have been working hard this week and am looking forward to the weekend. We had a birthday mid-week, and will continue celebrating this weekend. I am not sure if I will have time to paint, but last weekend I launched my art on Blue Thumb - take a look if you have time! As Nelson Mandela said, “Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” I would like to change that to, “Do not judge me by my failures, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” or, "Do not judge me at all, I am just doing what I love!"

I started my love of art when I was in high school, when I took art as an 'O' Level subject (Year 10) in the then British colony of Hong Kong. I loved drawing botanicals in junior school, and dabbled in portraits and figure drawings during high school. At high school fetes, together with a friend, we would run portrait stalls and mak...
