Australian flora loose watercolour painted grevillea cards


I love painting Australian flora - the plants look a bit different and almost alien. They particularly lend themselves to the loose style of watercolour painting. I used this style in this video on my Facebook page.

  Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope to show a few of my artworks here. I live in Australia with a lifelong love of the creative arts. I have played with scrapbooking, cardmaking, and lately watercolour painting. I love creating pieces of art which I turn into cards or wall art. I love painting loose florals and calligraphy and other things that inspire me.  I have maintained a love of art and creating art ever since my teens. Even though I did not have the opportunity to formally study art, I create when I have the chance and the inspiration. I have learned watercolour painting online through various courses, and have fallen in love with it.  I started my love of art when I was in high school, when I took art as an 'O' Level subject (Year 10) in the then British colony of Hong Kong.
